We need your help to streamline the Inspection Search feature. The online version offers 40+ column options (via file export). To make the offline app easier to use, we’re narrowing this down to only the columns that matter most for field work and giving users the ability to customize columns for their personal workflow. .

As you work out in the field conducting inspections offline, you may need to search through inspection records to find specific information. After either selecting the shortcut from the Home Screen or the main navigation – you will be taken to the screen below:

All inspectors have different workflows, so we are introducing a new offline feature that would allow you to customize which columns appear in the Inspection Search screen above. Think about the past year when you conducted field inspections offline and actually needed to use the Inspection Search screen. Answer the questions below based on those experiences.

Besides the default columns, there are several other column options available for inspectors when searching through inspection records. In the online app, they can be accessed through the “EXPORT” link on the inspection search screen.

When working offline in the field, you may need to use the inspection search page below to browse inspection records:

To complete a more in-depth search, you may need to use filters to find and narrow down your search results. The screen below is what you will see when you click the “FILTERS” button in the previous screen. The filters are organized into categories on the left side of the pop-up. In this example, “Facility Information” is selected and displays the available filter options on the right.

Your responses for the remainder of this survey will help us better understand which filters are important for your workflow when searching for inspection records offline.
